ExtremeSMS ("we," "our," or "us") provides an SMS messaging integration for GoHighLevel that enables users to send and receive text messages through their GoHighLevel account. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the ExtremeSMS application and related services (the "Service").

a. Information from GoHighLevel

When you connect ExtremeSMS to your GoHighLevel account, we may collect:

• Contact phone numbers
• Contact IDs and location (sub-account) IDs
• Message content (SMS/MMS)
• Message metadata (timestamps, delivery status)
• User and account identifiers

b. Messaging Data

To provide SMS services, we process:

• Outbound and inbound message content
• Sender and recipient phone numbers
• Carrier delivery receipts and error codes
• Opt-out keywords (e.g., STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE)

c. Technical Data

We may collect limited technical information such as:

• IP address
• Webhook request logs
• API usage logs

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Send and receive SMS and MMS messages
• Display messages within GoHighLevel Conversations
• Provide delivery status and error reporting
• Enforce opt-outs, DND, and compliance rules
• Maintain, secure, and improve the Service
• Bill for usage where applicable

We do not sell or rent personal data.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share data only with:

• Mobile carriers and telecommunications partners for message delivery
• Infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, storage, logging)
• GoHighLevel APIs as required to synchronize conversations and contacts
• Legal authorities if required by law

All third parties are limited to processing data solely for service delivery.

4. Data Retention

• Message data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the Service, meet legal requirements, or resolve disputes.
• Users may request deletion of message data, subject to legal and carrier obligations.
• Backup copies may persist for a limited period.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including:

• Encryption in transit (HTTPS)
• Secure API authentication
• Restricted internal access controls

No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
